At first release, Optus’ 4G LTE network will only be for Dongle and WiFi Hotspot devices and not for mobiles. While this is certainly disappointing at first, we can definitely expect Optus to get phones on the network in no time at all. It took Telstra a few months to make the move and we can only hope that Optus make the move in the same haste.
