Following the roll-out of the Vodafone Galaxy Nexus to Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean, Vodafone has announced another much anticipated update – the Android 4.1.2 premium suite for the Vodafone Samsung Galaxy S3.

Similar to the Galaxy Note 2 premium suite, the update brings a lot of Samsung specific features to the Samsung Galaxy S3 such as the multi-window feature for greater multi-tasking functionality.  There are many other features to list, but if a picture is worth a thousand words, a video explaining the features must be worth ten thousand.  Oh wait, there are two videos – so make that twenty thousand.

The Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update for the Galaxy Note 10.1 is poised to bring a Premium Suite of software to the Galaxy Note 10.1. For starters, there will be improved multi-tasking with the on-screen windows. You’ll have the ability to open many windows of 16 different apps at once with different window sizes, dual-screen functions and other little benefits.

Another welcome feature is Air View, which has been found on the Galaxy Note II. You’ll be able to hover over the screen with the S Pen to get a better idea of the content below. S Planner, Email and videos or the Gallery will be able to perform this function.

Samsung has released a new advertisement to outline that the Premium Suite is finally coming to the Galaxy Note. However, Samsung has elected to not show so much of the Note itself but rather show off the skill of David Beckham. Perhaps Sammy is trying to say tell us that the Note is as sleek and smooth as the star himself, or Sammy is just trying to show us that they can afford to pay Mr Beckham.

Hopefully the Premium Suite is coming for the Galaxy Note sooner rather than later. The generic version of the Galaxy Note recently had ICS roll-out, so we can only hope that Australian telcos get the update up and running shortly.

Hoorah, Samsung will be updating the mammoth Galaxy Note line to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich this Autumn! The phablet (phone + tablet) will be following the likes of the Samsung Galaxy S II into the world of creamy goodness. However, the ‘goodness’ doesn’t stop here! The Galaxy Note will not only be receiving ICS but also an exclusive Premium Suite, which is tailored for the Note to better perform its own features.
