Well this is quite exciting. Huawei’s first step into the high-end device range has gone live in Australia. The Ascend P1 is a slim, fast, Android 4.0 running phone that is very welcome into the Australian smartphone scene. The only problem is that it is priced slightly too high. The Ascend P1 can be picked up for $499, which is very close to the pricing for the HTC One X and about $100 more expensive than the Samsung Galaxy Nexus.
