Industry experts speak out on Flash security on Android
Interesting move from Californian firm Adobe this week with their announcement that they will not be continuing the support of Flash on Android from Jelly Bean 4.1 onwards. This interesting move reflects that of Apple, who also refused support of the aging standard (for which Jobs had a personal vendetta) in iOS. Not all hope is lost for rich Internet media, however, with Adobe promising increased support for their HTML5 platform, Adobe Air.

Adobe Sneaks an Update to Flash
It wasn’t a big one, but today Adobe pushed a sneaky update for Flash for Android over the Google Play Store. This interesting move comes in the face of their reports a few months ago that the California based company would be discontinuing their support of Flash on mobile devices.
The update is only going to make a difference to those running Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and didn’t even show up in the New Apps section of the Play Store.
