Upon release, the HTC Sensation was very ahead of its time, delivering a state of the art dual-core 1.2 GHz processor and a qHD resolution. This was, and still is, one of the fastest processors on the market, which gives the Sensation the ability to run any app at blinding speeds. The qHD screen resolution provides beautiful image quality for viewing photos, videos and streaming. This is a very all-round phone; suitable for the majority of Android phone users.

It’s a good phone, seems like it has a solid build, but with use, flaws appear.

I does have a pretty quick processor, but it feels as though something is holding it back. Might be the RAM or Sense UI as there is a bit of lag.

The screen is ok, but the external speaker is pretty hopeless. Surprising as the HTC Sensation was marketed as a “multimedia superphone”.

Also encountered a design flaw. The volume rocker fell out as I was turning down the volume. It appears there is a flimsy piece of rubber holding the rocker to the back case, and it fell apart with use. HTC wanted me to send the phone in for an inspection by a technician. Stupid process for a known design flaw. I ended up fixing it myself…
