MORE FROM ASUS
The ASUS PadFone is a revolutionary device. It is the first device to allow for a phone to be transformed into a tablet and then into a laptop. The PadFone by itself is simply a phone which features a quad-core Tegra 3 processor, 1GB of RAM and a fairly small battery running Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
However, it features a 10.1” screen with 5 batteries placed inside as phone an accessory. The PadFone is simply able to slide into the back compartment of the accessory and light up on the 10.1” screen in the tablet version of Ice Cream Sandwich. The phone is then charged at the same time by the numerous batteries in this accessory while you can enjoy your phone on a tablet interface. This ‘tab’ can then be docked into a keyboard, boosting it to 9 times the battery life – a truly revolutionary device – the PadFone is a phone, tablet and laptop all in one!
