Upon its release, the Nexus S was met with the same excitement as Google’s Galaxy Nexus. As of a year ago, the Nexus S featured the most impressive specs to be found on any phone. Although much time has passed, the specs found on the S are still outstanding. Its 1GHz processor allows it to blaze through almost any task, with 512MB of RAM giving it the capability to multi-task quite well (although not quite as well as the modern 1GB RAM Androids that are becoming standard now).
Hardware aside, the best feature of having a Nexus-branded phone is that it is pure Google. There is no manufacturer bloatware slowing it down and it displays exactly what Google wants to put in the users’ hands. To top it all off, the Nexus is already able to be upgrade to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, making this blogger a little jealous he didn’t grab one!
