The Acer Iconia Tab A500, is the newer and faster brother to the A200. Still running Android 3.2, it does however have an available update to Android 4.0. It features a dual-core 1 GHz Cortex-A9, making it a very similar tablet to the A200 yet with a newer OS. Not to take anything away from Acer, they have definitely improved their custom UI in this version, it just isn’t the jump we were looking for. With that being said, the 5 megapixel camera is a nice addition.
