MORE FROM Samsung
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 was Australia’s first 4G LTE enabled tablet, thanks to Telstra. However, it is also available in a WiFi only or 3G version. For the most part, the Tab 8.9 is very similar to Samung’s original flagship Galaxy Tab 10.1. It features a 1GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, as well as being incredibly thin (thinner than the iPad) and lightweight.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 has been slated as the ‘perfect sized device for portability and usability.’ It has been said to be receiving an update to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich in Q2 2012.
