The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 was, for a long time, the only real Android competitor for the iPad 2. It was heavily marketed as the thinner and lighter yet larger screen version of the newest iPad. It has a very similar minimalist design in that there is no remove-able battery, SD card, HDMI port or really anything besides the standard sleep button and volume rocker.
Although this tab may have caused Samsung many headaches in Australian courts, it was at the forefront of Android tablet sales worldwide. This is a great portable tab with a fair bit of processing power behind it to get you through most tasks. It has very decent battery life, but could do with a few extra hours on standby.
