MORE FROM

The Samsung Galaxy S III is most probably the best Android device to date. It has incredible hardware, incredible software and does not look too shabby at all. It is not only one of the biggest phone launches of 2012 (if not the biggest) but also one of the biggest tech launches of all time.

For anyone wanting an Android that can do almost everything, the Galaxy S III is your phone. Its huge 4.8-inch screen is incredibly vivid and beautiful and its quad-core processor is the most powerful around. The SGS3 is in our books the most powerful, well-rounded Android phone yet.

Great phone just wish the mms messenging would work.Cannot receive or send mms messages. And it seems I am not alone if you google the problem.

  • Noy

cant wait to get my hands on one of these!!

I got caught up in the SGS3 hype and made the switch after many iPhones.. I’m really happy with the platform and the capabilities but found the phone is let down by massive power drain and a disorganised approach to managing music and other media (open and flexible, but disoraganised)

Received this phone for my birthday in June and I’ve really loved the experience. Samsung have really got the device to about 90% perfect, you can tweak it to about 95% and if you still want extra juice flash a new ROM. Real easy, great job samsung, keep supporting android!

  • David

Loving the new gimmicks – Very surprised at how useful they’ve become (can’t imagine a phone without Smart Stay or responsive Voice Commands or simply the shear responsiveness of the S3). Certainly a Benchmark for Future Phones! *8vD

Have had this phone for over a month now and still loving it.
It’s fast, it’s sleek and it gets the job done.
My only gripe is that sometimes it’s a bit too large to sit comfortably in your hand, though I am happy to put up with that as I love the big screen.
Now, whenever I pick up an iPhone I feel like I’m holding a toy phone.

To those who are unsure of music management on Android devices, I’d recommend looking up some good music apps. That’s the beauty of Android ;) You’re not stuck with stock. I use DoubleTwist for my music, it has a Win/OSx application for those struggling with the move from iPhone to Android :)

After having an iPhone 4S, you definitely notice the difference picking the Samsung Galaxy S3….it’s so much lighter but the size took a bit of getting used to.The SGS3 is very easy to use, pages load fast.I can also use the assistive light while on Instagram or using the camera which has come in handy, couldn’t do that on the iPhone.Very easy to put my favourite music on there too…..overall so far an amazing phone!!

This is without a doubt the most amazing phone/gaming device/ organiser I have ever owned. Smooth, sleek, light and powerful with a great screen and fantastic battery life make this a winner.

  • Mudrat

Only down side is battery life. I have turned off mobile internet and other features to stretch battery life.
The phone is great and hardware is best in class till next thing comes out.

  • Angly

Swapped over from iphone and its great. Just wish it had a handle as everywhere you touch is screen.
