The Huawei Ascend D1 was announced by the Chinese OEM at MWC 2012. This is part of Huawei’s big push towards the higher end of the market. While the Ascend D1 is not on the same hardware level as devices such as the Samsung’s Galaxy S III and the HTC One X, it does have a decent set of specs. The D1 is not currently available for sale in Australia but we can be sure that once it is it will be going for cheaper than you might think.
