Live from Samsung Galaxy Note II Event: Pricing: UPDATE: Coming tomorrow to Vodafone, Telstra, Optus

SNGIIscreen

We’ve received word on Galaxy Note II pricing and stockists.  It turns out that the Galaxy Note II will be available from Telstra, Optus and Vodafone on plans, or outright at retailers and the Samsung Experience Store for a RRP of $899. We can confirm that the 4G capable version of the Note II is coming, so get ready for high speeds if you’re in the (admittedly small) coverage areas.

Samsung has also emphasised the screen’s excellent size as “perfect for viewing videos”, and their focus on new software as well as making old software “even better”. They have also presented apps like Sketchbook that take advantage of the S Pen, perfect for designers and artists.

UPDATE: Just in from Josh, the Galaxy Note 2 is going for sale TOMORROW at Vodafone, Telstra and Optus.

UPDATE 2: Sorry guys, just in: the Note 2 won’t be available tomorrow from Telstra.

EDITOR’S UPDATE: Several Samsung reps told me that the Galaxy Note II would be in stores tomorrow, with a Telstra rep letting me know that it would be coming to them later. It seemed as though flagship stores will be getting stock first with others following suit shortly after and all to have the Galaxy Note II available by next week.

Price is not so much an issue, Hell I remember paying $850 for this iphone 3GS back on launch day. Issue for me is 32gb and 64gb version waiting time, I don’t want this entry level 16gb for such an awesome phone, Some apps require it to be installed from the phones ram not Micro SD card.
