Wikipad Gaming Tablet launch delayed

wikipad

The Wikipad, a gaming tablet by Wikipad Inc. has been postponed on the day of its intended launch. This 10.1″ Android powered tablet has an impressive spec sheet along with its unique ‘gamepad controller’, an attachable gaming dock with the familiar gaming console feel to it.

There is a last minute opportunity to enhance the Wikipad bundle as well as a minor refinement needed to ensure our first customers are completely satisfied with the Wikipad. – Wikipad Team

The Wikipad is no longer up for pre-order on GameStop (US$499.99). GameStop export their products to EB Games in Australia. I asked them if they were going to stock the Wikipad but they could not confirm anything. The gaming tablet may become available through grey retailers.

Are you waiting for this unique Android powered gaming tablet? Or perhaps an OUYA Android-based gaming console will meet your gaming requirements.

I’d only heard of it once or twice before this, but I definitely could see a place in the market for it.
