3G Nexus 7 passes through the FCC, certification date of October 29th

Nexus7url

Well this is always fun, a Friday morning full of rumours flying north and south. Well, just after we reported that the Nexus 10 user manual has popped up in Korea, it appears that the 3G variant of the Nexus 7 has passed through the FCC.

While I’m not much of an FCC filing aficionado, apparently the ”ME370TG” titling suggests that this is in fact a Nexus 7 variation. We’ve heard about the 3G Nexus 7 before, but this is the first kind of paperwork on the matter.

The filing is set for a certification date of October 29th, which fits in nicely with something else happening around then. Yeah, I’m pretty sure there’s some kind of Android event happening?

considering the recent ipad mini announcement and the fact its got nothing on the nexus 7 in many aspects, the fact its 4g capable will probably be a “its better because” point for apple fans, this will shut them up lol (yes 4g is better but not wide spread enough to matter yet imo)
