Jelly Bean for Samsung Galaxy S III arrives in Vodafone labs
Anyone out there have a Samsung Galaxy S III from Vodafone? Would you like some yummy Jelly Beans on that slab? Of course you do! Fortunately it looks like the wait may soon be over for people waiting for JellyBean on their Samsung flagship, according to the following tweet just posted by Vodafone Australia:
Jelly Bean has arrived in our labs for the Samsung GALAXY S III. Read all the latest on software update news here: http://bddy.me/PBhwsp
And that is all we can tell you other than their update page also lists the update as having arrived, and stating that testing will commence “shortly”. So there you have it, Samsung has handed over the Jelly Bean update for the Galaxsy S3, and once Vodafone tests and approves the update it will roll out to all you lucky people. Keep in mind that this testing process still could take a few weeks, but the release is coming and it’s coming soon.
So let me know GS3 owners, what feature of Jelly Bean are you hanging out for most? Do you just desire some Project Butter-y smoothness, or does the voice-activated, habit-predicting Google Now catch your eye? Do you crave more informative notifications, or do you just simply want a solid white box for your search bar rather than a hollow one (Please don’t say this is the feature you want most, that’s just sad)?
After having run Jelly Bean for several weeks before switching back to a closer-to-stock ROM, my personal favourites are Project Butter and Google Now. Both of these add very real improvements and add to the overall experience, but you guys don’t have to take my word for it, you’re getting Jelly Bean soon!
