Motorola RAZR M and the RAZR HD both rooted

RAZR HDM

As expected by the Android community, root exploits for the Motorola RAZR M and the RAZR HD are available. An XDA member by the name of Dan Rosenberg posted yesterday the exploit to root most of Motorola’s new Android phones.

The root exploit works on the Atrix HD, and is claimed to work on the RAZR M and RAZR HD, as well as the Photon Q and RAZR i. If you’re considering buying any of these phones then this should help tip the scales. The instructions are simple and straight forward.

Remember to always practise precaution.

Editor’s Note: Make sure you take precaution before tinkering with your phone. We are yet to test this on the Australian variants and there may be unforeseen issues. It’s always safe practice to take a full back-up of your phone before doing anything behind the scenes. If you can brave it then enjoy!

When you say “Australian Variants” they technically aren’t variants. A variant is a phone model number and everything. Like the Droid RAZR M is the variant of the RAZR M. If this was done on a RAZR M and RAZR HD (And not the Droid versions) then it will work with all Australian models because they are identical (Minus the carrier branding).
