Oops, LG India gives the LG Nexus its first formal recognition

We all know that the LG Nexus 4 is all but announced, with a multitude of rumours, leaks and images doing their rounds around the Internet.

IBNLive has quoted Amit Gujral, Head of Mobile Product Planning for LG India as saying -

Google will unveil the LG Nexus on October 29 and the phone will be available in the Indian markets by the end of November.

Gurjal apparently went on to say that the LG Nexus will feature a 4.7-inch screen, Android 4.2 OS and a 1.5 GHz quad-core processor, which we’ve heard before. This is by no means an official guarantee, but it is just one more piece of evidence for the Nexus 4 being a reality.

With the device heading to India by the end of November, it could mean that we see it in Australia sooner than that. As Australia was a launch country for the Nexus 7, we can hope that the Nexus 4 follows this trend and is up for pre-order almost as soon as the announcement is made.

Are you as excited for the Nexus 4 as I am? I’ll be pre-ordering it as soon as the site goes live!
