Android 4.0.4 rolling out to the Telstra HTC One XL

One of the most annoying things about a great phone is losing screen real-estate. This is the case with the HTC One XL and the lack of on-screen buttons and no capacitive menu button. However, with the latest update to Android 4.0.4 and Sense 4.1 we are seeing a new option to duplicate the multi-task button to fix the solution. Easy, one tap for menu, hold down for multi-task. You just bought yourself an extra centimetre of screen with an easy update.

The update also brings a variety of bug fixes, battery enhancers and the usual garble. You know the drill – head over to the Settings -> About -> Software Update -> Check Now and see if you’ve got the update – you should. I’ve had it on my One XL for a couple days now and the experience is much nicer.

As always, be sure to let us know if you get the update and how it goes!

Thanks: Gordon!
