Galaxy Nexus and Nexus 7 get treated to Android 4.1.2 factory images

android-skateboard

Yesterday we reported about the Nexus 7′s impending update to Android 4.1.2 – a minor update in the Jelly Bean line.  For many (including myself) the update has not yet rolled out to their devices. Do not fear, it will come.

If you’re one to tinker with your device and want to get the update yourself then Google has released the factory images for the Galaxy Nexus (takju, maguro) and the Nexus 7 (nakasi). If you’re interested in flashing the version for yourself then head over to the source link below (Google) to grab the images. Enjoy!

I already rooted and flashed my phone with a custom ROM, which is amazing (Galaxy Nexus).
