[Update: Delayed until next week] Zombie Driver HD out tomorrow on Google Play
Editor’s Update: It appears as though the release for Google Play has been delayed by a week, while the Xbox Live and Steam versions are available. Here’s what EXOR Studios had to say on the official website:
we have to inform that the Release of the Android version for Nvidia Tegra powered devices on Google Play has been moved for the next week.
Grab your keys and mounted guns, folks – because Zombie Driver HD is set to be released tomorrow on NVIDIA Tegra processor-powered Android devices and other major platforms.
Originally developed as a PC exclusive by EXOR Studios out of Poland, Zombie Driver HD brings old school vehicular combat with a the touch of a modern day zombie apocalypse.
Per the initial announcement in September 2011, Zombie Driver HD was slated for a fourth quarter release. However, an unexpected delay in January 2012 pushed the release back to an unspecified date.
Late September 2012, the folks at EXOR Studios announced the new release date of October 17th, 2012.
Zombie Driver HD will set you back $6.99 via Google Play, while other major platforms will cost you $9.99.
On a more personal note, this is one Android game release that I’ve been looking forward to since hearing about it late last year. You can expect to see a review of ZHD following its release on Google Play tomorrow.
