[Download Link] Gmail for Android 4.2 to receive a great revamp
We all know how great the guys over at Android Police are with their ability to dive into unknown information and share it with the world. They’ve got their hands on the apk file for Gmail on Android 4.2 (which also works on ICS+ devices). If you’re rooted you can head over to the AP site for download.
The new Gmail application is much more handy & useful, with the addition of such more sought after features. First off, Gmail now finally has pinch-to-zoom functionality, that is the ability to zoom into emails and view the contents – up close!
There is also the added functionality of swipe to delete messages, archive or report as phishing. You can change a few of these methods in the settings, which is always a nice addition.
Gmail has also added several new features in the way of improved attachments, new settings and a slightly new design. I’d seriously suggest checking out Android Police’s report on the matter with screenshots and other information.
