10th Anniversary edition of Grand Theft Auto: Vice City coming to Android this spring

If you love the GTA series of games, then you’ll love this. We reported yesterday that GTA: III’s 10 year anniversary edition for Android is on-sale for just $0.99.

However, if you grew up as a player of Grand Theft Auto: Vice City then you’ll be happy to hear that developer Rockstar games is brining the famed game to our favourite platform at the end of this spring.

Here’s what the developer had to say in their post on the matter:

This upcoming version will bring the full experience to mobile devices, featuring native high-resolution graphics and several enhancements unique to the iOS and Android platforms.

I’m incredibly excited to have a go at this game. If it’s anything to go by (and it should be) Rockstar did a fantastic job with the GTA: III anniversary edition and I expect this game to be no worse.

    I some how never got into vice city, probably still playing gta3 :p, with the quality of gta3 on Android, this seems like a top time to give it a go

    I always found that GTA3 for Android was a bit rough performance wise, especially when it would lock up my entire handset. (Galaxy S3, stock rom)
