Vodafone Galaxy Tab 10.1, Xperia S ICS update approving manufacturer roll-out, Xperia Arc updated

Have you got any of these phones from Vodafone? Well, today sure is your lucky day. Vodafone have finally got some really great, solid news about these Android devices. Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich is just around the corner!

Vodafone has approved the updates for the Galaxy Tab 10.1 and the Xperia S, leaving it up to Samsung and Sony respectively to hit the button and push the update out. There’s not too long to go.

Head on over to the Settings -> About -> Software Update -> Check Now and see if the update is ready. It shouldn’t take over a week, so start getting excited. Of course, there are sometimes hiccups so we made have a longer wait on our hands but this is a very big step in the right direction!

If you have the Sony Xperia Arc your update is already being pushed! Follow the instructions above and start enjoying some of that Ice Cream goodness (while I enjoy Jelly Bean).
