ASUS Transformer Prime recieving Android 4.1 Jelly Bean?

The update to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean for the ASUS Transformer Prime went live in the US in the latter part of last week. At the time, we were unsure whether the update had made it over to Aus at the same time. However, it is now clear to us where this update is at.

Ladies and gentlemen, for those of you who have got yourself an ASUS Transformer Prime (TF201), then now is the time to start getting excited. Jelly Bean looks to be here and ready for your installing. Well, at least that’s according to Twitter user Crazy Sean who @ASUSAU (ASUS Australia retweeted). Hopefully, that is enough evidence from ASUS Australia that the update is up and running. I’ve sent an email to ASUS AU (wow, I’ve sad that a lot this paragraph) for confirmation. I’ll update this post when I hear more.

Well, without further ado, I invite you to check your tablets for the update. You know the drill – hit up the Settings -> About -> Software Update -> Check Now and see if you are ready to bite into some Jelly Bean sweetness.
