Coles Mobile selling Telstra PrePaid Uno for just $44.50 starting Wednesday

Android phones just keep getting cheaper and cheaper don’t they? We got used to $400, then sub-$250, then sub-$100 phones. However, I never really expected to be seeing Android powered smartphones going for just $45 – yeah, it’s quite absurd.

Anyway, thanks to our regular tipster Alex (particularly for the cheapest Android’s Australia offers) we now know of this extremely cheap device. Coles Mobile will be selling the Telstra PrePaid Uno for just $44.50. As you can expect from the price it doesn’t have the best set of specs. However, from what we can tell this thing isn’t actually half bad.

• Android 2.3 Gingerbread
• 2.8-inch touch screen
• 2 megapixel camera
• Expandable memory up to 32GB

If you’re looking for an Android device on the cheaper side – whether it be for yourself, travel or the kids then this could really be what you’re looking for. Heck, for $44.50 this could work for almost anyone. Head into a Coles Mobile store come Wednesday and get your hands on one of these ultra-cheap devices.
