Huawei displays their new Emotion UI in a 2 minute video

Huawei has today shown off their Emotion UI in a new video. It looks quite smooth, nice, intuitive and most of all – user friendly. The new Emotion UI isn’t anything too special (like what Samsung have been going at in the last year). However, it does look like the Chinese OEM has taken a page from HTC’s book and put a whole lot of nice style and design into their new user interface. Have a look at the video below (don’t worry, it’s not a 13 minute video of the Galaxy Note II) and have a look at the offerings in the new UI.

This does mean that Huawei won’t have the close to stock feel that a few of their phones have had before. While this generally encourages us to think it will bring down the phones performance, it is not always the case. If Huawei’s new custom UI manages to run smoothly, the it really looks to be a good option.

Thanks: Alex!
