Get your Nexus 7 now, Google to stop the $25 gift card promotion

If the $25 Google Play gift card that came with the Nexus 7 was a big winning point for you, then think again. This offer will be expiring on September 30th. So, if you’ve been hanging out to get a Nexus 7 but were waiting for the right day, then it could be in the next two weeks. Google announced the change over Twitter:

The $25 gift card theoretically marks down the price of the 16GB Nexus 7 variant in Australia to around $292, just that you must spend the $25 in the Google Play Store. It’s quite a good promotion and is a really great way to have new Android users explore the store. I wish it were to stay as it was a great way to win over prospective new Android users.

    dam a deadline, ive honestly been putting off buying one in the slim hopes of a similarly spec’d and priced 10inch tablet appeared, but the $25 credit is a big bonus of the N7 thats hard to pass up

      I wanted to jump into the Nexus 7 but have been hoping the Galaxy Note II can fulfil my phone and tablet cravings. Or, I might look into the Acer 110.
