The 4G LTE Samsung Galaxy S III is coming to Australia

When in Melbourne’s small, yet interesting, Samsung Experience Store I had quite an intriguing conversation with one of the staff. He is a Channel Representative of the Samsung Electronics Telecommunications division so I can take him pretty seriously on his word.

After writing separately on the store itself, I felt it necessary to highlight this fact. I know that when the Galaxy S III originally launched in Australia many of us were looking for – and to our dismay – not finding a 4G LTE version of the SGS3.

However, after having a little chat with the Samsung store rep I got the answer that the Galaxy S III “is coming.”

So, if you’ve been waiting for one of these (and have the patience to wait a little longer) then you will be seeing it in Australia. We’re not sure if we’ll be getting a similar thing to what happened with the Galaxy S II, where the 4G LTE version launched on a slightly beefed up phone, or if it will have the same specs. However, time will tell.
