Dick Smith and JB Hi-Fi selling the Huawei Honor for $399

dfdsfdsfdsf

Well, our friend Alex is at it again! We have another phone on sale down under that has completely slipped under the radar. If you’ve been hanging out for the Huawei Honor, which I’m sure is not many of you, then it is now here!

The phone does not have the most amazing set of specs, but it is quite powerful for your standard Huawei. It’s stuck on Android 2.3 Gingerbread, but there is said to be an update available or on the horizon.

The most stark features of this device would have to be the 1900 mAh battery, which is larger than you’d find in your standard Android phone. It has an 8 megapixel camera, too – but as we know, it’s not all about the megapixels.

Product Features

  • Android 2.3 (Gingerbread)
  • 4-inch 854×480 display
  • 8 MP rear-facing camera, 0.3 MP front-facing
  • 1.4GHz processor
  • 122 x 61.5 x 10.9 mm
  • 1900mAh battery

If you’re interested in grabbing yourself the Huawei Honor, I’d suggest heading over the Dick Smith’s website for the full run-down.

Huawei’s website says that the phone is also on-sale at JB Hi-Fi, but we can’t locate it in the online store just yet. If you’re in a store and happen to see one we’d love a quick snap!

Thanks: Alex!

I didn’t see one in the Gallaries store in Sydney, but will try and see if either Blacktown, Penrith, Mt Druitt or the Westfield Sydney/The Trands and World Square stores have any on display!!

Cheers! I’ll have a look in a couple Melbourne stores today too and see if I can find one.

DSE version is 850/2100 so no good for Optus users in rural area for 3G (900 is used).

How do we get the U8860 model that supports 900/2100?
