Completely waterproof Sony Xperia Go on-sale at Optus, Telechoice, Allphones

Wow, I did not believe this when I first saw it. I just attended Sony’s online Sony Sessions and was incredibly impressed by one phone in particular. That is, the Sony Xperia Go. This phone is not only scratch resistant, but also dust proof and – wait for it – completely waterproof!

The Sony Xperia Go is a completely waterproof phone which you can place in pretty much any condition. Screen wet? It still works. Just dropped it in the sand at the beach? It still works. The Sony Xperia Go is welcoming in the future and displaying a phone that is completely waterproof. While the specs aren’t too amazing, the wonders of this phone are all about the extra features – waterproof, dust resistant, you heard it up above.

The online stores haven’t been updated just yet but rest assured that the Xperia Go is now on-sale at Telechoice, Optus and Allphones. Stay tuned for more. For now let’s enjoy this video:

    whilst im a firm believer in the mantra that if your the type of person to drop things alot or think swimming devices are fun when drunk then you shouldnt take you smart phone with you to a watery outing, accidents happen and waterproofing of phones is something i can get behind

    it will never happen but imagine the ads you could use for this, mostly involving drunken swimming adventures or club toilet mishaps and such it would sell like hotcakes to 18ish crowd

    The only issue I have is that it went from the dog’s mouth, to her hand while they were preparing food, then in to the flour. Gross.

    This is great, I have heaps of tradie mates with iphones in these massive bulky missile resistant cases; and you can hardly even get to the phone to use it!

    This will be perfect for them!
