Samsung to release Note 10.1 on August 15th and Note II on August 29th
Following many rumours and reports we are now confident that Samsung will release the Note 10.1 on August 15th and the Note II on August 29th.
We reported earlier that Samsung were sending out invitations in the USA for a date claimer for the 15th of August to “meet the next Galaxy.” At that time we were fairly confident of NOT seeing the Note II as the invitation was from Samsung Electronics America, not Samsung Telecommunications America which usually handles the phone releases.
Well, thanks to our friends at GSM Arena it seems this is now confirmed to be for the Note 10.1. Retailers are releasing stock and unboxing pics and some even tweeting they will release the quad-core, 2GB RAM tablet early!

So it now seems certain that Samsung will retain the previously suspected date of August 29th at the IFA event in Berlin to release the Note II.
August is set to be the biggest month of releases for Samsung yet, and with some mightily impressive sales figures already coming out, who knows where these two eagerly anticipated devices will take them to!
Thanks to GSM Arena and CT-Miami, here are the final specs as shipped, of the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1… Hold on, seriously.
