Samsung’s first Australian retail store to launch on August 22nd

sammy

It appears as though Samsung will be launching Australia’s first retail store on August 22nd. The store is positioned at 450 George St, just down the street from Sydney’s main Apple store. We’re not sure what will be on the inside, but it is reported to be an ‘Experience Store’ that will attract many to its welcoming arms.

We recently had a look at the insides of the store from George St, and things looked to be quite white and simple. Seeing as though there is only a two week time-frame from our images and the official launch, don’t expect too much to have changed. Have a look below for all the images:

We’d love to see if the store is much like the Canadian variant – that is,  like an Apple store. Yeah, another thing that Samsung and Apple may begin tossing flaming arrows at each other about.

Stay tuned for more on this one, we’ll have it as it comes in. We’ll aim to have someone on the floor to get all the info on the launch.

      Hi Petr,

We’re not sure exactly when the store will be opening, but there is an exclusive event tonight. It will be open for the public tomorrow. I’m assuming that will be from midnight or from general opening hours.

Thanks Josh. I was there at 10pm yesterday and they were pretty much ready for today launch. I have seen tables with tablets and phones, there is a huge wallpaper of SGS3 on the wall, big flat LCD TVs etc. Cheers
