Draw a Dragon, get a custom S III
Whilst this isn’t quite news, don’t even try and tell me that you’re not interested in how and why a man in Canada received a dragon-embossed S III compliments of Samsung. It all started on reddit, when user Perma decided to post a screenshot of his post on the Samsung Canada Facebook page. He’d drawn them a dragon, in hopes of attaining a free Galaxy S III.
He was met with disappointment, but was fortunate enough to receive a drawing of a kangaroo on a unicycle in return.
Until today, 3 months after the Facebook message, when Perma made a post on reddit, showing off Samsung’s gift to him. An S III with that very same dragon plastered all over it.
Most companies seem to cut down their expenses after being forced to pay over a billion dollars to their biggest competitor, but it’s nice to see Samsung aren’t one of them.
And I know what you’re thinking. I’ve already emailed, facebook’ed and called Samsung Australia requesting our own dragon Galaxy S III. I’m not expecting a reply.
