Call of Duty: Black Ops Zombies coming to Android soon?

Well that would make me a very happy man. As an avid gamer and COD fan (on Xbox, of course) I’m over the moon to see that it could be launching shortly on Android. We recently reported that you could play virtual COD (somewhat) on your Android, but this brings things back to the screen.

Over on Xperia Gamer a field manual was uncovered (from the official COD website mind you) that hints the game will be coming to Android.

Yes, yes iOS users. We know you’ve had the game for quite a while – we don’t really mind. The fact of the matter is that it looks like Call of Duty: Black Ops Zombies will in fact be coming to Android and will be debuting somewhat shortly – or so we hope.

What will be really interesting is if games like this start becoming featured for Ouya. Ouya is the $99 Android gaming console that provides free games and is currently in development. If more and more games like COD, GTA III and the lot keep coming to Android than Ouya is already set to take off. Stay tuned as we’ll post more as we hear it! Until then, let’s go and play some COD on our Xbox or PS3.
